It’s been a whirlwind at the Getaway lately – with hundreds from the Variety Bash stopping by, the Cooper Tires team from across Australia, for their bootcamp and training week, a triathlon, running festival, bowls tournaments – and even a Brahman BBQ in our gardens!
Other news from Rainbow include the Aquatic Centre reopening after winter and new business in town, Gardiner Fisheries have their very own Whiting Competition – until November 30. Try the new menus at many of our eateries – or walk the new path to the viewing platform, south of the Surf Club.
Sand is definitely back on the beach, there’s hardly any rocks to see at the moment, but do be careful if you use the 4WD access. Check out the new showers/bubblers at the beach entry whilst you are there (see images below). Temperatures have been so mild for winter, and remember it is a perfect time for whale spotting!
There’s more coming up for September with the school holidays. The first week of September school holidays are booked out – so if you’d like to come stay in the second week, please call us now or book online as there is not much available. We expect Christmas and the summer break to be just as busy – so book in now to avoid disappointment.
